Rated 5 out of 5 by from We Upgraded Our Ride My wife and I have been riding Can Am’s for the past 10+ years. Two months ago our son talked us into updating our rides to a side-by-side. We looked at all the brands starting with the Can Am’s and found the Polaris General the eases to get in and out of with the best ride and power. We made it street legal and soon it became our go to ride for around town. We added a home made head liner with some sound proofing to the back fire wall. Now it’s a real nice ride. Our friends who have other brands say our ride is so much better, the next one they are getting will be a Polaris.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Runs good, a few quality issues. We were sold on the power of the unit. The ride command features are awesome. This machine is made for a family of four. Unfortunately we are faced with a couple issues with our unit. The two right hand doors were not adjusted properly from the factory and have been rubbing into each other. This was noted on the second day we had the unit home. Both doors have paint damage. There is a awful rattle in the LH drivers door. The noise drowns out the conversation taken place with the family. We are getting to the point we we want to take the doors off just to have a more comfortable ride. My Polaris glass windshield is coming apart on the upper right hand corner. On the cabin side of the glass. Last the ride command radio is very weak. I would never expect this to be perfect but you literally have to turn it up as loud as it goes just to here the tunes. Very surprised you have to max the volume out to get a decent sound. I would love to be excited in regards to recommending the General to a friend. I honestly can't say I would at this point. I have always been a fan of Polaris. This is the third Polaris we have owned. Still struggling with a few things.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bang for the buck For the price is was disappointed and than they try to sell an extended warranty. It is so stripped down, I'm surprised it came with wheels. the Polaris snowmobiles are ready to go. It's hard to clean after mudding, to many pockets and groves. No storage on it only a glove box. Decals had bubbles on them. They are load, I would think it would have had a better exhaust so you could talk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2019 General I've only had it out for a few rides so far as it was purchased late last fall. I like the glass front & back windshields, very well designed. No rattles like the plastic ones I had on my RZR. I'm very unhappy with the heater on it. I paid a lot for this feature & at least expected to blow some warm air from the vents. I had it out riding in 20 degree weather & I couldn't feel any warmth when I held a bare hand in front of any of the vents. I wrapped & taped/sealed poly over the rig for a test, kept testing the temps with my meter & it only got 80-90 right at the vents after running 45 min sitting stationary. No way that would be suffice with it moving! Finally got it into the dealer who said that's all it does..... Note below; I would not recommend the heater to anyone, but the unit itself I would.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rides great Polaris accessories suck Rides great Polaris upper doors fit terrible, drafty when you enclose it, tire alignment is terrible and the a-arms are not adjustable, all in all I’m content with it however if they don’t make major changes I’ll be making a switch from Polaris in my next machine even thought I’ve had Polaris since ‘97

Rated 3 out of 5 by from General Purchased the General and am very unhappy that the tailgate doesn't latch, rubber on seal of the passenger door what loose, and tailgate had a scratch and dent in it. Contacted the dealer and nothing was done. For the price of the machine, it should have also come with a remote for the winch.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish I was happier I bought this new in November. I wanted the Ride Command but can't stand the black and gold color so we had to get a 2018 to have red. I am used to our 2013 RZR 900. We have 5300 miles on it and were going to sell it but decided to keep for a while. We went up the mountain and got into the snow on New Years Eve. The RZR literally ran circles around the General. I was very disappointed in how it handled and how it struggled. It was really hard to control compared to our RZR. The bucket seats in the RZR are also more comforable. The General, although bucket seats, sit up more like a bench seat. The passenger seat needs to slide back or the glove box needs to push back into the dash so that you don't hit your knees. I don't understand why Polaris wasted leg room with space behind the glove box that can't be used for anything.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hoping for the best I have had my general for 3 months. The first weekend out, I had zero issues. The SXS failed to start on the second weekend. After a couple weeks at the dealership, it was determined that the injectors were the issue. They were replaced... the next trip out, it ran for two hours before falling victim to the same issue. It was brought to another dealership as I was 1000miles from home. They determined the injectors were the issue again and replaced them. The following morning we got two hours out of her before it wouldn’t start again. After many attempts, it started but was in limp mode. When I brought it to my dealership, it was still in limo mode. The following am, the mechanic said it stated fine, and has done so since. I am taking it out this weekend for another go at it. I hope it doesn’t ruin yet another weekend away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome machine I've owned numerous makes and models of ATV's since the early nineties from banshee, honda 250r, grizzly 600, raptor 660, and several others.I've even had a kx250 good ole 2 stroke but this is my first side by side. Let me just say I wanted a little work and mostly play from my first side by side and I got more than I expected. I know there are rzr's out there but the general is alot of play. Handles better than any ATV I've ridden and just so much more fun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Ride I would give it 5 stars but the doors are not the best for the price you pay. Both inside handles have broke off. Maybe due to mine coming off the show room floor and being opened a lot. Besides that I have no other complaints at this time. The best I've had up to date.

It takes over my life. I’ve only been focused on my Polaris since I purchased it 7/5/2020. Can’t wait to get off of work every day and hop in it. It’ll have some serious mods by next year at this time. I purchase something for it every week. Clutch kit and tune coming real soon. Looking forward to 84mph top end

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good machine with some needed improvements The General has very good power and is good for summer use. I bought it with plans to ride in winter conditions. Then I learned there is a clutch air intake vent on the side of the vehicle which clogs with snow in a very short time, even with the Frog Skin cover. So, I have limited use in snow, as would be the case in any dusty situation. The gear shifter is hard to move even after taking it back to the shop. Again, it is a good summer toy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beyond amazed with the versatility of the General! I bought the 2018 Polaris General hunter edition in November and have already taken it through about everything. It’s quick for the smooth traveling and incredibly smooth for trails as well. I use the bed everyday for feeding animals and I have never had a complaint. The General is by far the best piece of equipment when it comes to side x sides throughout any company. I’m impressed to this day and have yet to find something I don’t like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great features, excellent power, awesome seats I still own a turbo razor. The general is a true cross between a razor and a ranger. Does everything well. Is very sporty while still being very functional/ utility. It is a very comfortable unit. The fit and finish is better than the razor. While first driving the general late this fall, i truly did not miss the turbo power. The only thing i have to get used to is it feels a bit more tippy compared to the razor. Can't wait for spring.

Other than that it runs good, not much storage in it and needs a little more clearance to.

We finally had to have half doors put on which isn’t ideal since it is very dusty, and we will have to switch them out soon for winter. Also, the back bucket is too small and too high for my wife to put in trash cans or dirt or seed bags or whatever.

I HATE the tailgate LOCKS they DO NOT function at all and I have to bungee it CLOSED. so disappointed in the tailgate design. I love the quick power response and I that winch functions past expectations.

But taking it out for fun was hot & far too noisy even with earplugs and noise reduction headphones. The windows wouldn’t stay open! We finally had to have half doors put on which isn’t ideal since it is very dusty, and we will have to switch them out soon for winter. Also, the back bucket is too small and too high for my wife to put in trash cans or dirt or seed bags or whatever.

We finally had to have half doors put on which isn’t ideal since it is very dusty, and we will have to switch them out soon for winter. Also, the back bucket is too small and too high for my wife to put in trash cans or dirt or seed bags or whatever.

GENERAL XP 1000 Deluxe

Starting at $33,299 CA MSRP

XP is the world’s most capable crossover side-by-side. With a 64” stance, 30” Pro Armor tires, high clearance A-arms and Walker Evans Velocity shocks, it will elevate your off-road experience and take you on adventures that break new ground.

2023 GENERAL XP 1000 Sport Ghost Gray is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 222.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome machine Really nice combo vehicle, it moves pretty good, high ground clearance, radio option is awesome, hauls stuff and is all around fun to drive. I’ve owned rangers, kabotas, bobcats and John Deere’s for the money the kubota is the best straight utility vehicle but a max speed of 25 mph. I’ve had rzrs, and a Yamaha yxz both way faster than the general for the money. But the general has the middle of the road utility and performance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet Ride, Only a Few Faults I love how comfortable the machine is and how it rides. I am pleased with the performance and how it is a multi use vehicle. Only down sides so far that I am not happy with are the belt slap issues, the door panels are separating and the Stage 4 audio system is very very disappointing. I have heard that at least the belt slap should be getting a recall, and I hope it happens soon because these have been out for a while now...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall Awesome Machine!! We purchased this 3 months ago to go to go riding in Colorado. It performed better than expected! We chose the General over a Ranger for the better ride quality due to my wife’s back. As a salesman, I did not think this was a very practical machine for a farm, however, after using it for some time now I can see how versatile of a machine it actually is and will definitely be recommending customers to look at this machine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun little ride We noticed at the dealership a funny clicking noise when the general Was on. After taking it home and riding it the noise was still there. You guys sent us a nice letter and Polaris cups, thank you, and informed us there is a recall. So I’m happy the noise can be fixed. Otherwise I love my General very much. It’s perfect. I use it to work on my 5 acres and can take it riding with all my friends in their 4 seaters.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall a step up That is a step up from the regular Generals. The Walker Evens shocks are quite good. The springs are poor. By adding the front tenders from a XP4 to the rear, and moving the rear to the front makes a huge difference in lower speed chatter. I would have thought that 30" tires was good enough. But as usual the going size is 32". After the springs and 322" tires this thing eats rough rock terrain like a champ. I am always waiting on the RZR 1000XP4 and another General. At first second guessed myself if the extra green for the ride command was worth it. Actually I have enjoyed the stereo a great deal. I like having the extra gauges. As far as the GPS and other features they have no value to me. I would though like to be able to customize things like the flash screen and safety features. My 2017 General served me well for over 8000 miles and hopefully the XP will follow suit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice machine Only complaints are the horrid belt slap issue which Polaris has made no effort to fix, leaving it up to the customers to fend for themselves. Sucks to go through belts at a rapid pace. Stereo doesnt work properly until changing ride command regions. Latest update has actually made peoples not work at all. Good job Polaris! If you buy one, carry a spare belt as you will need it. Great machine other than that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well built machine Not a lot of ride time on it yet, but have driven it around the property, and done some work. Machine performs extremely well towing, hauling, and fun on sport riding end. The suspension and drive line are top notch. Will be going on a good fun ride next week, and have little doubt it will perform great on the trail. Long time sportsman owner that moved up to a SXS, and am very glad with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine! I currently own two RZR’s, a Ranger and this General. I classify the General as between the RZR’s and Ranger. Great suspension and ride control like the RZR’s and utility capable with the dump box. Easy in and out of cab. I’m 6-1 and wish the cab was a little taller and a little deeper for legs. Otherwise, great machine, I did put some aftermarket soundproofing in to lessen cab noise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice machine, but low quality. I have this machine for about 4 months. It’s been a fun, comfortable machine. The drawback is quality is very low. Attention to detail just isn’t there when it comes to fit and finish. One shock clunks on every little bump. Some of the body lines don’t line up, radio doesn’t work at times. For the price paid, I would think Polaris would have more quality behind their machines.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the ride but have had issues I bought the bike in June from a dealership out of town because of availability. Dealer was awesome (Rivercity in the sault). Love the bike it rides and performs like we anticipated. The issues started right away though, we had issues with a leak and the clutch still has issues. This is the most disappointing as there is no fix from Polaris on a very expensive product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good features, just a few kinks... I got mine about 3 months ago, and instantly realized there are a few problems. First the belt runs in the housing, and I tried to submit a claim but Polaris said the issue has already been resolved, which is wrong because obviously it’s rubbing! Second, my speakers make a hard knock when being turned off every now and then... probably being back fed from somewhere

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice cart I’ve had my cart fir three months. It spend two months at dealership waiting on a fuel plump from pularis direct. After two weeks initial clutch problems Riv it’s missing plus screws. Doors still not aligned. Going for it first service next week. Still clutch noise. I thing pularis should pay for first service since I made two payments while it was waiting on parts

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great machine, good features I purchased the General a few months back, so far we have been pretty happy with it. It has great power and great handling. We have the ride command.... for the money, not sure it is worth it. The radio is fine, if you are sitting still or going slow. You cannot hear it under power. The features of the ride command, are really just "gimmicky" at best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from all aroud great machine I bought this machine three months ago, and it is the best. I love the feature of turf mode where only one rear tire pulls, you do not tear up your yard or driveway when riding. I have ben out to west Virginia on hatfield and McCoy trails once already. We rode 130 miles and you feel like you have been riding in a car on the highway all day.

Over all its amazing. 2 issues right away before ever getting it to a trail was not pleasing going to the dealership in the morning for repairs but outside that love it! Would be 5 star if it was not leaking oil and steering worked correctly in the first 2 miles of driving it.

Friends took us mountain riding in British Columbia and we went through terrain, climbing areas I would not have thought possible. We’re up at 8000 feet elevation in two feet of snow and still going up. Am regretting not doing this years ago

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this machine. The general looks great has lots of power in hand as well. Unfortunately I had to put in a warranty claim on the front tires as they were too far at a balance to have them balanced. I did just receive a recall notice on the steering column with a do not ride warning. Hope to have it fixed soon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun bought a few months ago about 450 miles. The glass windshield has a metal piece in the middle on the top that gets into my field of view, the passenger side drain plug falls out a lot and for the price I would think the touch screen would be a little more durable otherwise a good machine

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We Enjoy it but have issues Splits in doors at top pinch skin when arm is resting on door and you slide your arm. Disc pad chatter is annoying. Banging noise on passenger when we hit a good bump. Walker evans shock is leaking and being repaired at present time. We still enjoy our machine, especially Ride Command.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all-round vehicle Bought this vehicle in late July and immediately fell I love with it. It is the perfect mix between the utility vehicle that I need around the yard and the sport sxs that I need to keep up with my friends. The power and sport suspension is amazing and the dump bed is extremely useful.

The ride command system is sweet as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product Love this machine so far! Having the ability to use the machine like a RZR and have a tilt bed for work makes this a well rounded machine. The XP General was what sold me on it due to the Large tires, high ground clearance, that wide stance, tilt bed, etc.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Extremely Expensive I am glad I bought the machine it is very well made but almost bought Jeep instead because of price, the only reason I aquired general instead of Jeep is because where I live I can use on the road

GENERAL XP 4 1000 Deluxe

Starting at $36,399 CA MSRP

XP is the world’s most capable crossover side-by-side with room for your crew. With a 64” stance, 30” Pro Armor tires, high clearance A-arms and Walker Evans Velocity shocks, it will elevate your off-road experience and take you on adventures that break new ground.

2022 GENERAL XP 4 1000 Deluxe Matte Ghost White Metallic is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 177.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Machine money can buy This is the most versatile machine on the market. I have a street legal kit on it so I can go straight from my home to the mountain trails. Throw Trax on the machine and there is no where in the snow it will not go. The safety features are unmatched. It is the perfect vehicle for a date with my wife or chasing after big bucks and elk. I am so happy with my purchase!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun Machine I bought this machine around 4 months ago and have about 1,000 miles on it. It has a very comfortable ride and good power. The Rockford Fosgate radio is also a great touch. I love that Polaris came out with the XP. The only issue I have experienced and seems to be a problem for other owners as well is the belt slap issue. Great machine and happy with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Inclusive Having previously owned a Ranger I traded up to the General XP 4 1000 just recently. Living in a mountain community The General does everything I need it to do and more. I not only use it for off roading but take it into town to the hardware store, nursery , grocery store and even to the golf course. The General XP 1000 is everything I need it to be and more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from P I work on a recreational/horse:cattle ranch in south central/-western CO. We have had the General for 4 months. It is excellent for people of all abilities. Not as powerful and “scary” as Razor but much more comfortable and better suspension than the 2 Rangers we have. Also, thank you to Dennis and Weekender Sports for their Unprecedented service and support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Machine This machine will go through very rough terrain that I did not think possible. Ground clearance is amazing. The 30" Tires on the heavy suspension was an awesome design idea. Sometimes wish that the top speed could be increased with another gear. On road is can be challenging with traffic. Even though I know the machine was not designed for the road.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent ATV!! This is a great off-road vehicle. We live on 24 acres with rough terrain and the General takes it like a champ! Great power, even with four passengers, and great ground clearance for getting over rocks, logs, and whatever else might get in the way! The storage in the back is great addition for work around the ranch. Highly recommend this ATV!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great al around machine I wanted something different than I’ve had before and this is it. The machine itself works great for all around use. For a family of 4 and all the gear it is a great fit. It’s surprising how stable it feels and even compared to a 4 seat rzr. The fit and finish is pretty disappointing for the price we are paying now days for these things.
Date published: 2021-05-29
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plush Ride, lots of power Number 1 comment from everyone who has ridden in my machine: "Very smooth, comfortable seats". Horsepower is reasonable. Even with 4 adults in the machine, throttle response was good. No issues plowing snow with the 72inch Glacier HD steel blade. The Polaris heater is phenomenal. I wish I would have purchased the Ride command.
Date published: 2021-02-04
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Machine Overall, Horrible Belt Slap This is our first SxS and have been mostly pleased overall. We love the space in the cab and having enough room to add a bump seat for the little one. Power is adequate and ride is really good for the segment. My two biggest complaints are fit/finish and belt slap. I was disappointed in the fit and finish for a machine of this price. I had to adjust doors, align the steering, tailgate wouldn’t open, etc. My dealer did help correct some of them. There is also horrible belt slap on decel and appears to be a very common issue online for XP machines with no fix that I’m aware of (outside of buying an aftermarket clutch kit). It’s bad enough that it’s gouging the clutch cover and I would assume it’s affecting the life of my belt. For that reason, I just can’t recommend the machine until they address this issue on the XPs. If they address this issue appropriately, my rating would improve. I would also like to see them add a turbo option in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for all my outdoor needs This machine is great. I use it in the woods hunting and on our 80 acre farm. This thing goes over the bumps and through the thigh deep waterways like nothing. I'm super happy we got a Polaris. Even the wife likes to ride through the woods in style with the kids in the back it has room for the whole family.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cool looking machine. Love the suspension and door Disappointed on the plow system, turn to angle position and blade lifts on one end . Roof useless when rains , water pours in on your lap and fills in open dash compartments . When in gear on uphill machine rolls back. Braking is not what I expected . Could not insert hitch into receiver . Insert too tight
Date published: 2021-02-02
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun to ride but multiple issues with machine The suspension with the Walker Evans shocks is pretty good and the overall ride and handling is decent. The front differential started making a humming noise and had to be replaced within the first 3 months. The machine over heated and left me stranded after having a Polaris heater kit installed.
Date published: 2020-12-30
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok machine In true Polaris fashion it squeaks, rattles, and expensive factory accessories that are low quality and defective
Date published: 2022-04-09
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This machine hauls I am so happy with my Polaris General. It runs great and maneuvers well on both blacktop and rough road. Suspension is so good those rough roads are smooth as blacktop. Fits 4 people comfortably. Back seat has great leg room. I bought a windshield and street kit and don't need anything else!
Date published: 2021-01-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Functional and dependable I love my quads. But this machine can get 4 people and everything they need to a difficult location on my property. Rather clearing trees for firewood and food plots or just dropping a few widow maker trees nothing is better. Moves through very rough terrain with no problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from WOW We bought this back in March 2020 and it has been an absolute beast. So far it has gone everywhere I have asked it to. The ride is amazing the adjustable shocks make it super easy to adjust the ride. I handles extremely well. The sound system and ride command are awesome.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my General! Comfortable ride, plenty of power, well thought out amenities! These are just a few words I use to describe my experience with this vehicle. We've added front and rear glass windows to increase the comfort. Definitely looking forward to more seat time in this great machine!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great ride I bought this 3 months ago and really love it! I’ve had a 900s 2seater snd 900s 4 which I still have and my wife drives that one. The General is the go to by far but just wish it didn’t have the belt slap. I only have a 6month warranty I sure hope it’s taken care of.
Date published: 2020-09-24
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Owner Got this in August and very happy with the actual performance...Amazing! The doors, windows, windshield, Stereo are not up to the standards of Polaris but, our local dealer has addressed these concerns and we shall see how it all shakes out next trip, next month
Date published: 2020-10-23
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect all around UTV This General is perfect for me. I can race it, jump it, crawl with it just like a rzr. I can Hunt with it, work with it, explore anywhere with it and with the winch never worry about getting stuck. We also have the Ride Command which is a life saver, Literally
Date published: 2020-10-07
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbelievable Perfmorance! My wife and I purchased the new XP 4 1000 General back in March. We could not be happier with our decision. It blows our mind away each and every time we ride it! When friends tag along for a ride, they can't stop saying how comfortable and smooth the ride is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sport utility sxs on the market! I wanted a machine that was comfortable for trail riding and could fit the whole family, yet was not a slow, poor handline utility machine. The upgrades they made to the General XP were perfect. The machine has great power and ride and handling are excellent.
Date published: 2020-06-23
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable I bought my machine 2 months ago and it’s been great everything I wanted in one package the comfort of my gxp4 blows me away I have taken many rides in my other riding partners and the general has more room and it just eats up the bumps I love my buggy
Date published: 2020-10-14
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Buy a General, skip Ride Command I am really enjoying my General 4 XP. I do have a couple issues with it, however, that I need to get resolved. One issue is the first time I used my winch it worked fine but then when I was reeling it back in it stopped working right before it got to the end. I am going to look into that a little more this week. The second issue I believe is a dealership issue. After the first ride I noticed that my turf mode wasn’t working. When I went to see why the axle had completely come out of the rearend. I was able to pop it back into pace and haven’t had anymore issues since so hopefully it was just poor assembly and it is corrected now. The last issue is with the sound system setup and Ride Command. There is no way I would’ve bought the Ride Command system had I known about how the system is designed. It has a 4 channel amp to push 4 speakers and a sub and is basically impossible to upgrade it unless you buy a second radio or Bluetooth module. I want to love the Ride Command but it’s just not quite up to the level of the rest of the machine
Date published: 2020-09-22
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Features Excellent features and options on this model. Everything is user friendly and the machine handles very well in many conditions. Only thing I have complaints with or about is the clutch and belt system. I would definitely recommend Polaris to anybody
Date published: 2020-07-08
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great all in one but not perfect It is a decent all around utv. I wish that at the coat point there ride was a bit smoother with better options. The fox shock package seems like a better package than the walker evans. In addition, power increase and turbos should be optional.
Date published: 2020-10-01
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Ride! My family loves going on rides on the General around the house, and in the mountains. The suspension is amazing, I have driven over large fallen trees that you barely notice. Everything works great, and is so much fun to drive and ride in.
Date published: 2020-07-08
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing memories with the General Bought 3 months ago, rode the beautiful trails of New Hampshire a few times. Many many miles of trails and this machine handled well! Plenty of comfy room for our family, and lots of room for coolers of food and beverages!
Date published: 2020-11-02
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great ride except for the Ride Command. The Ride Command isn’t very user friendly, won’t save settings, and has a glitch that requires you to change region every time you cycle the ignition or the stereo won’t perform. An expensive feature I expect more from.
Date published: 2020-07-29
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing goes EVERYWHERE! We are so happy with our purchase of our General. My wife and I find ourselves exploring our local wilderness areas nearly every single weekend! The ride is comfortable, it looks awesome, and it is a joy to operate!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Features Excellent features and options on this model. Everything is user friendly and the machine handles very well in many conditions. Only thing I have complaints with or about is the clutch and belt system. I would definitely recommend Polaris to anybody

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great all in one but not perfect It is a decent all around utv. I wish that at the coat point there ride was a bit smoother with better options. The fox shock package seems like a better package than the walker evans. In addition, power increase and turbos should be optional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Ride! My family loves going on rides on the General around the house, and in the mountains. The suspension is amazing, I have driven over large fallen trees that you barely notice. Everything works great, and is so much fun to drive and ride in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing memories with the General Bought 3 months ago, rode the beautiful trails of New Hampshire a few times. Many many miles of trails and this machine handled well! Plenty of comfy room for our family, and lots of room for coolers of food and beverages!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great ride except for the Ride Command. The Ride Command isn’t very user friendly, won’t save settings, and has a glitch that requires you to change region every time you cycle the ignition or the stereo won’t perform. An expensive feature I expect more from.

Living in a mountain community The General does everything I need it to do and more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Owner Got this in August and very happy with the actual performance...Amazing! The doors, windows, windshield, Stereo are not up to the standards of Polaris but, our local dealer has addressed these concerns and we shall see how it all shakes out next trip, next month

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing goes EVERYWHERE! We are so happy with our purchase of our General. My wife and I find ourselves exploring our local wilderness areas nearly every single weekend! The ride is comfortable, it looks awesome, and it is a joy to operate!
