Replacement parts for your Polaris GENERAL can be identified and ordered using the Polaris online parts catalog.
From the drop-down menu, select the year, model, trim level and color of your GENERAL. You can also log in to your Polaris account to access vehicles in your garage, or enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). To find your model number, use the VIN Search Tool.
Once your vehicle information has been entered, select GO.
The page will reload. Click on the category you wish to browse.
If you wish to shop parts for your vehicle, select SERVICE PARTS. If you wish to shop for maintenance parts and accessories, select from the category on the right.
For example, let’s find a wheel bearing for one of the front wheels of a GENERAL. So we’re looking for the front suspension assembly. Select SERVICE PARTS. The service parts catalog will load on your screen. From here, you can search service parts for your vehicle by assembly.
Then select FRONT HUB under SUSPENSION.
After selecting the assembly, you’ll see a diagram — which can be zoomed in or out — with part numbers that correspond to the listings below.
The bearing is item 5. So if we scroll down to 5, we’ll find that it is part number 3514924 and costs $49.99. Here it also can be added to your shopping cart. Note that the default quantity is the number that comes with the complete assembly. In this case, that is two. To only order one, change the quantity to 1 before adding it to your cart.
Some parts will show multiple part listings for the same item number, as shown below. The part you need depends on which color or edition your vehicle is. The final two letters in brackets correspond to the final two characters of your model number.
Your Polaris Dealer can help you find the correct part for your vehicle. To find a dealer near you, use the Dealer Locator.
Note that some older parts displayed in the parts catalog no longer are available from Polaris. Contact your local Polaris Dealer for availability. Additionally, any item shown on the schematic comes as a unit of 1. If you need multiples of an item you must adjust the amount you order.
Consumer warning: In order for work to be performed safely and correctly, many parts replacement procedures and repair procedures must be done by trained Polaris service technicians in a properly equipped shop. You must read the service manual and be familiar with the service procedures before starting the work. Certain procedures require the use of special tools that are not available to the general public and your dealer will have to perform these procedures for you as necessary. If you have any doubt as to your ability to perform any of the procedures outlined in the service manual, contact an authorized Polaris Dealer for service. Procedures indicated to be performed by dealers only could void your warranty if performed incorrectly. The failure to follow correct procedures and use correct tools could result in serious injury or death.
